Or, even just feeling that something is wrong and not being able to define it. I additionally enjoy and I'm passionate about helping those who are either seeking pre-engagement or pre-marital counseling and have several educational elements that I share in these sessions.
I am motivated to help those in need receive their highest potential and demonstrate this in my personal involvements outside of counseling.
Having lived for several years in the urban area of Los Angeles and having faced many of life's transitions, I understand the day-to-day struggle to just survive.
I enjoy working with adolescents, children, couples, families, and multi-cultural individuals and families, drawing from a variety of treatment approaches to best meet each person’s particular needs, offering short and long term therapy in a safe and supportive environment, while encouraging people to try specific tasks outside of sessions.
I approach each person, couple, and family as a unique and respected unit. My work is based on my belief that relationships, in every area of our lives, past and present, greatly affect our well-being and the potential to live our lives healthy.
I support and thrive to help others explore the values that they possess and the values that they want in close relationships.
Finally, I support the reality that part of being a great therapist is seeking and receiving great knowledge from other therapists and paraprofessionals and encourage others to utilize their support systems as well and I can help them build that.
With my experience as a Social Worker, I can offer each person, couple, and family various helpful resources in the community as well as empower individuals and families to obtain the services they need.
